Christine brings over 13 years of NYC salon experience to her craft, having honed the art of cut and color while building a loyal clientele in the city. Now upstate, she’s channeling her creative energy fully into her love for haircutting. Known for her attentive listening, sense of humor, and commitment to her clients, Christine creates styles that are both effortless to maintain and uniquely suited to each individual. She carefully considers your personal hair goals and upkeep needs, making every cut a true collaboration. Always eager to evolve, she continues to refine her skills through ongoing education, blending new techniques seamlessly into her work.

A graduate of the Vidal Sassoon Academy in London, Emi worked in top salons in Auckland and NYC before relocating to Hudson. She is a meticulous artist with a diversity of interests and a love for philosophy, fashion, and traveling. Emi is a talented colorist in addition to her cutting skills, and incorporates her famous head massages into her healing hair services. A ‘must’ experience.

After moving from NYC where she worked as a visual merchandiser, Elana Tema was excited to do something new. She attended Paul Mitchell Beauty School, but developed her own method of dry cutting. Elana continues to break the traditional mold of wet hair cutting by leaving hair in its natural state and carving details into it based on how it lays on each individual’s head. She is passionate about creating effortless hair that is low maintenance and does not require a lot of styling. Elana draws her influences from art, fashion, street style and music. Sustainability within the art of hair as well as on this planet are of upmost importance to her.

With over 15 years of experience, Erika has worked at salons in the Hudson Valley as well as apprenticed under Master Stylist, Lune at Salune Hair Studio. Erika enjoys creating sun-kissed color and transitioning people who would like to embrace their natural grey and silver. Her haircuts aim to be low maintenance and look great while requiring minimal time styling. Erika has a truly deep concern for her clients well-being beyond just their appearance. With over 25 years in the industry, Danielle has worked in many well known NYC salons before continuing to style for major fashion magazines, runway and artists. She has sole owned Vamp Hair Studio in Montclair NJ for over 13 years. Danielle since has moved from the greater NYC area to the Hudson Valley. She is most requested for her razor cutting , balayage and fashion color skills. Her passion lies in creating edgy and rock n roll hair shapes and color that are manageable yet very chic.

Chris Mercan cuts for the future! A true artist, she loves to create looks that balance classic with edgy, emphasizing natural texture, and easy-to-manage, effortless style.

When Chris left Detroit in 2003, her heart was wide open to receive New York City’s unique energy and constant visual stimulation. A talented photographer, Chris’s sharp eye for detail and uncommon beauty landed her numerous photographic apprenticeships.

Chris began exploring her love of hair at Aveda Soho and spent 9 years as an educator with ARROJO studio NYC. There she studied precision scissor and razor cutting under masters stylists from Vidal Sassoon, Toni and Guy and Aveda. There, she created her own way of sculpting hair and using color to paint light and shadows creating depth and interest. Whether it’s a classic bob or a fun shag, she loves working with very thick or textured hair creating beautiful shapes that only get better over time.

Since moving her young family to the Hudson area in 2012. Chris has continued to hone her craft and collaborate with a vast client base as the premier stylist at one of Hudson’s best-renowned spas. She’s thrilled to now work alongside a community of vibrant creatives at 6 Park Studio.
